Entering grades 10-12: Spend two weeks paddling and camping in the Boundary Waters learning core naturalist concepts. Transportation from the Twin Cities and Duluth is available.
Visitors can observe these beautiful birds up close and learn about the banding process and bird research.
Half- and full-week family camps offer adventure for every age in the house – together at Wolf Ridge.
Entering grades 7-8: This one-week camp session is a great introductory trip for campers looking to experience camping in Minnesota’s legendary Boundary Waters Canoe Wilderness. Transportation from the Twin Cities and Duluth is available.

An advanced bird banding class designed to help participants fine-tune their skills. Must be 18+ to enroll.
Do you look for interesting rocks on every beach or gravel road and want to discover their story? Are you an agate or Thomsonite seeker? Do you wonder about all those rock faces you see as you drive heading north on Highway 61?
Galls, burls, and brooms! Oh my! This workshop will focus on exploring the Lilliputian world of galls, burls, and brooms as well as the plants they grow on.
