Welcome to our 2,000-acre classroom on the north shore of Lake Superior.
Established in 1971, Wolf Ridge was originally located at the site of a former Job Corps facility in Isabella, Minnesota. We moved to our current location in Finland, Minnesota in 1988.
Located on a high ridge overlooking Lake Superior, Wolf Ridge is bordered by the Baptism River and features creeks, two lakes, two high peaks, 18 miles of hiking, and ski trails with spectacular views of Lake Superior and the Sawmill Valley.
Facilities include four classroom buildings, two dormitories, including the Margaret A. Cargill Lodge – the first renovation project in the world to receive Living Building certification – a cafeteria that serves food grown on our organic farm, a raptor aviary, two auditoriums, two indoor rock-climbing walls, and two outdoor ropes courses.
