Outdoor School

More than an overnight field trip—Outdoor School at Wolf Ridge is a fully accredited residential learning experience where students grow academically, socially, and emotionally through meaningful time outdoors.

Guided by expert naturalists, students engage in hands-on lessons that spark curiosity, build confidence, and foster connection—to each other and to the natural world. Our curriculum aligns with Minnesota Academic Standards while intentionally supporting social-emotional learning, including collaboration, resilience, self-awareness, and responsible decision-making.

Whether exploring forests, wetlands, or the Lake Superior watershed, students develop a deeper sense of place and belonging—skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

Not able to travel? Bring Outdoor School to you. Our live virtual field trips deliver interactive, standards-aligned lessons tailored to your curriculum and rooted in your local ecosystem.
