Nestled on a high ridge overlooking Lake Superior, Wolf Ridge spans 2,000 acres of stunning natural beauty. Our campus is bordered by the Baptism River, featuring two serene lakes, creeks, and two high peaks. With 18 miles of hiking and ski trails winding through a vibrant mixed forest of maple, birch, and spruce, our property is teeming with wildlife. Expect to encounter species such as eagles, moose, black bear, wolves, foxes, pine marten, peregrine falcons, and loons.

Located in Finland, Minnesota, Wolf Ridge is a short, scenic drive from popular state parks such as Gooseberry Falls, Split Rock Lighthouse, and Tettegouche State Park. We’re just four hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport and two hours from the Canadian border, making us the perfect destination for both adventure and learning.

Lodging at Wolf Ridge

Our meeting and lodging facilities are housed in the award-winning Margaret A. Cargill Lodge, offering a comfortable and modern environment for your stay.

The lodge features 25 rooms, each accommodating 4 to 8 guests with twin-sized bunk beds. Many of our eight-person rooms are equipped with sliding “barn doors” that create semi-private suites, sharing a bath and shower area with just one other room.

We provide linens for all beds, and guests are asked to bring their own toiletries. Handicapped-accessible rooms are available to ensure a welcoming experience for all. Whether you’re here for a retreat, educational program, or adventure, you’ll find comfort and convenience at every turn.
