This workshop is a hands-on introduction to fall raptor banding migrating down the Lake Superior corridor. The emphasis will be on Northern Saw-whet owls.
In this workshop we will zoom in and focus on practicing plant identification skills. We will also zoom out and discuss the relationship between these plants and their environment. We will encounter many fascinating plants, some of them carnivorous, some of them mere inches tall at maturity, some with strikingly beautiful flowers, some of them are some of the rarest plants in the state!
