Spend a week with the Wolf Ridge Teacher Training Institute and fully immerse yourself in the practices of a naturalist. This hands-on summer workshop invites educators to study watersheds, participate in bird banding, explore Lake Superior’s shoreline, and develop foundational outdoor pedagogy skills. Through nature journaling and experiential learning, participants gain tools to transform their approach to outdoor education. No prior experience is required, and family-friendly options make it possible to extend the adventure beyond the classroom.
Explore the North Woods and Great Lakes with Wolf Ridge’s Master Naturalist Biome Course. This week-long program, in partnership with the Minnesota Master Naturalist program, offers hands-on learning for all experience levels. Choose from meal-only, private suite, or shared lodging options.
