Hike and learn the history of the SHT creation!
Hike for 6 days and 5 nights along the Superior Hiking Trail, a 300-mile footpath that goes from Duluth, MN to just south of the Canadian border. Meet with trail volunteers and learn the history of the trail’s creation, with the opportunity to help build/repair sections of trail and explore user impacts. Learn about outdoor recreation from Wolf Ridge’s resident Leave-No-Trace Master Educator and practice skills like bird and tree ID, camp cooking, and wilderness skills.
While on Wolf Ridge’s main campus, participants will be part of a series of classic programs: adventure ropes, wild edibles, geology, and more!
