Explore Wilderness Trips

Entering grades 10-12

Take a few weeks off the beaten path.

Join us for a Short Term Immersive Naturalist Training (S.T.I.N.T.) camp in the wilderness! Spend two weeks paddling and camping in the Boundary Waters learning core naturalist concepts. Campers will spend their time exploring the unique ecosystems within the wilderness through a naturalist’s lens with the help of Wolf Ridge staff. While on campus students will learn and practice slowing down, making observations and asking questions before heading out on trail. Once in the woods, adventures will take them into wetlands and pine forests to explore the amazing life residing there. From lichens and plants to moths and dragonflies, campers will dive into the life around them and further their journey of becoming better Naturalists.
