Explore the Wilderness with Wolf Ridge Expeditions for Youth
Our trips are led by experienced naturalists who serve as mentors, guides, and adventure leaders, ensuring each student has a safe, inspiring, and educational experience.
Wolf Ridge takes students to some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the region—from the ancient forests of the Boundary Waters to the cobblestone and sandy beaches of Lake Superior’s islands.
Along the way, students gain valuable wilderness skills and participate in a unique, hands-on curriculum. They learn about the natural world firsthand—exploring flora, flowers, lichen, insects, trees, and weather phenomena—all experienced directly on the trail.
These expeditions are more than trips—they’re immersive journeys that build confidence, curiosity, and a deep connection with nature.
