This 4-day, 3-night camp is designed to introduce new campers to the overnight camp experience without the week-long commitment. Campers will explore the fascinating world of insects and wildlife, investigate the creatures around Wolf Lake, and learn about edible plants in the wild.

An advanced bird banding class designed to help participants fine-tune their skills. Must be 18+ to enroll.
Entering Grades 10-12: Hike for 6 days and 5 nights along the Superior Hiking Trail and learn about outdoor recreation from Wolf Ridge’s resident Leave-No-Trace Master Educator.
Entering grades K-5: Spend summer days exploring Wolf Ridge’s woods, streams, wetlands, lakes, and more. Hot lunch and snacks provided.
Entering grades K-1: Spend summer days in a unique camp experience through a story telling lens. Hot lunch and snacks provided.
Visitors can observe these beautiful birds up close and learn about the banding process and bird research.
Entering grades 10-12: Students who want to learn about birds and the techniques scientists use to study birds. This camp is designed for students without prior ornithology or bird banding experience. Transportation from Twin Cities and Duluth available.
Entering grades 6-7: Multiple dates available. Discover and explore the natural world while building outdoor skills at Wolf Ridge. Transportation from the Twin Cities and Duluth available.
