Jolene is part of the Wolf Ridge marketing team. Her favorite season is the North Shore of Minnesota right about now.
Duluth photographer John Keefover, owner of Keefography and Arrowhead Expeditions, is thru-hiking the Superior Hiking Trail (SHT) this spring, a rugged route followings the Lake Superior shoreline from the Candian border to Duluth, MN.
In addition to sharing his adventure via photographs, videos, and journal entries, Keefover is also raising money for Wolf Ridge, specifically the Superior View Hike class, which introduces 2,400+ students from around the country to the SHT each year.
The class is just a small taste of what Keefover will see during his 19-day, 310-mile hike: expansive views of Lake Superior, up-close experience with nature, North Shore geology, and a deeper understanding of what it means to be a good steward of the land. You can track his progress and updates on Instagram @keefography.
If you’d like to support Keefover’s fundraising efforts, he’s asking for contributions of $1 per mile hiked (a total of $310), or any amount that works for you. You can learn more and make donations at Arrowhead Expeditions or Keefography.com, or donate directly at suphikeathon.campbraingiving.com.
