Discoverers Camp is the perfect introduction to Wolf Ridge! First-time campers build confidence, independence, and outdoor skills while enjoying hiking, swimming, ropes courses, and hands-on nature adventures.
Wolf Ridge Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Camp gives grades 11-12 campers hands-on leadership experience. Learn team-building, assist staff, and gain skills for future camp counseling.
Ready, set, design, and build! Wolf Ridge STEM Camp for grades 6–7 lets campers explore renewable energy in hands-on ways. Use solar power to light up a room or cook a snack, design wind turbine blades and water wheels, and see how energy sources and batteries work together to power everyday items. Even campfire cooking demonstrates biomass energy. This immersive program combines science, creativity, and outdoor adventure to spark curiosity and learning about energy and the natural world.
Give your teen the adventure of a lifetime on Minnesota’s legendary Superior Hiking Trail! This one-week introductory backpacking trip with Wolf Ridge teaches essential outdoor skills, builds confidence, and fosters a deep connection to nature. Campers will hike through forests and lakes, encounter wildlife, and experience the wilderness under the guidance of expert instructors, creating unforgettable memories in one of Minnesota’s most stunning landscapes.
Give your teen an unforgettable adventure with Wolf Ridge’s Intro to Sea Kayaking for grades 8–9! Learn kayaking basics, explore Lake Superior’s shoreline, read the waves and weather, and gain confidence on a multi-day trip. All kayaking is provided—bring your spirit of adventure!
At Wolf Ridge’s Adventurers Camp, campers explore the outdoors through canoeing, nature study, and teamwork—gaining confidence and lasting memories.
Nature Quest at Wolf Ridge is a theatrically themed adventure for grades 4-5. Campers learn skills like archery and plant ID while completing wizard-led quests, building teamwork, and making lasting memories.
Experience a week of adventure at Wolf Ridge with our High School Outdoor Recreation Camp for grades 10–12. Teens will develop skills in paddling, rock climbing, hiking, and other outdoor activities while enjoying the scenic North Shore. This immersive, adventure-focused program encourages physical activity, outdoor skill-building, and a lasting love for recreation and nature.
Campers will expand their outdoor skills, hike the Superior Trail, tackle the Adventure Ropes course, enjoy swimming, and build friendships in a safe, adventurous environment.
