Sandy Timmerman
Trustee
Sandy has a long-time history with Wolf Ridge. Her first trip was as a new teacher in the fall of 1986 to “Camp Isabella” with her fifth-grade classroom. She has brought classrooms to Wolf Ridge for over 30 years. In 2005, she was there with her fifth-grade daughter and her niece Becky was her liaison and a student naturalist. Currently she is a retired teacher with Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools but continues to coordinate trips to Wolf Ridge for the district’s seven elementary schools. She makes a trip with one of the schools each year. In her free time, she loves to travel with her husband, Russ, and spend time with her children and grandchildren. Her hobbies include camping, hiking, flower gardening, reading and needle work.
Sandy holds a Bachelor of Education degree and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. She serves on the Friends of Wolf Ridge Board in Prior Lake to raise scholarship and transportation money for all students in Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools to be able to attend their trip. She joined the Wolf Ridge Board immediately after retiring in 2021.
