Mark Carey

Trustee

Mark is a Facilities Building and Maintenance Advisor for the Northeast Region of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. He resides on the North Shore with his wife and three dogs. His two daughters are currently attending college at the University of Minnesota. Mark was recruited to the Board in 2023 by his Wolf Ridge neighbor, Doug Connell. He enjoys spending time on construction projects at home, photography, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, and Jeeping around the north woods.

Mark has an extensive construction, facilities, and management background, including twelve years as a licensed general contractor. He has also served on numerous non-profit athletic, community, and outdoor recreation boards.
