John Priem

Former Board Chair

John is a retired CPA and lives with his wife Julie on the North Shore. They both enjoy hiking, biking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and many other outdoor activities. They also enjoy spending time with their four grandkids who, thankfully, all live in Minnesota.

John first became interested in Wolf Ridge after a campus tour and when the Lake Superior Field Station was being evaluated which is now his “next door neighbor.” John has been on the board since 2018, previously serving as Board Chair and Finance Committee Chair. He and Julie volunteer weekly in the Wolf Ridge kitchen. John has also served on the boards of the Superior Hiking Trail Association and Baptism River Community Church in Finland, MN.
