For outdoor sporting enthusiasts entering grades 6-7
Whether you have previous skills or are looking for an opportunity to begin a passion, this camp will help build your skills while learning responsible hunting and fishing practices. Campers will learn how to effectively and safely operate a bow and arrow at the Wolf Ridge archery range and perfect a myriad of fishing skills while stalking the brook trout of Sawmill Creek and the walleyes of Wolf Lake.
Your camper will explore Wolf Lake’s ecosystem and food chains, try fly fishing, take an overnight fishing and canoe trip in the Superior National Forest, and learn to use a compound bow as they practice their archery skills.
Campers will meet demanding personal challenges and grow as a person and a leader through activities such as rock climbing and our adventure ropes courses!
It’s easy to make new lifelong friends when you have all-camp games to play and end the day with a campfire and s’mores. Many campers return again and again!
