For campers entering grades 8 – 9
Adventurers one-week camp sessions offer opportunities for participants to develop an appreciation for the environment and build a sense of community through memorable wilderness and in-camp experiences.
In addition to the activities described below, Adventurers go on a mid-session two-night canoe trip in the Superior National Forest. There, the fun and learning continue as they practice canoe skills, learn about leave no trace camping, explore wilderness birds, plants, freshwater ecology, and weather.
Campers will meet demanding personal challenges and grow as a person and a leader through activities such as rock climbing and our adventure ropes courses!
It’s easy to make new lifelong friends when you have all-camp games to play and end the day with a campfire and s’mores. Many campers return again and again!
Campers will be able to express themselves and their own individual artistic tastes through traditional crafts & skills and our own choose your own adventure day, a day in which your camper will be able to choose their own path and activities for the day.
