Activities

Explore Off-Trail

The deep snows of northern Minnesota are no match for a pair of snowshoes and an adventurous spirit! Put on a pair of snowshoes and venture into the woods and onto frozen lakes as you discover the joy of wintertime outdoors. Your naturalist guide will custom design a snowshoe hike that will fit with your group’s goals and abilities and will show you why the winter is one of our favorite times of the year.

Look for Animal Signs

Wild animals leave clues of their presence and behavior all throughout the forest, and all it takes is a little bit of knowledge and curiosity to learn how to find the clues that tell their story. During our hike, discover how to see, identify, and interpret animal signs such as tracks, trails, animal beds, and more. Be prepared to explore, learn new things, and begin a journey towards looking at animal signs in a new way!
