My favourite thing about being a naturalist is the new folks coming every week to go outside with me, play, and be in nature.
Going down to Sawmill Creek or Raven Lake to look for BEAVERS!
My ideal vegetable is carrots. Picking carrots is a fun surprise because you don’t know what they’re going to look like until you get them out of the ground: will they be long or short? Fat or thin? Perfectly cartoon-carrot shaped or like mutant carrot-people?! No one knows!
An American Marten because it is my spirit animal.
The power to give every person the feeling of being at peace and being loved. There are very few problems this power could not solve.
My favourite time of day is 43 minutes before sunset when the light becomes low and pinkish and everything you can see looks about three times as beautiful.

My favorite thing about being a naturalist at Wolf Ridge is living in this beautiful place being able to be outside with so many different students and seeing everyone’s reactions to new things they have not experienced before or thought about before.
Definitely hiking through the woods trying to find birds and other animals… and if it is a beautiful warm day, I would be swimming!
My ideal vegetable is a cucumber because they make great pickles. Simple as that ☺.
I would transform into Northern Harrier because they are my favorite type of raptor and it would be so fun to be able to fly!
My superpower would be to pull a Dr. Doolittle and be able to talk to animals. Not only would it be very entertaining to be an “animal whisperer” but With the help all of the critters I’d be able to learn so much and save the city in no time.
My favorite time of day is by far the early morning, right when the sun is coming up. I love to wander about the woods at this time because the animals are so active then and it is a beautiful start to the day.
