Climbing shoes of all types!
If you could have dinner with anyone, from anytime, anywhere, who would it be?
Right now I’d get jambalaya with John Kennedy Toole in New Orleans circa late 1950s.

Graduate Naturalist
Favorite thing about being a Naturalist?
Sharing my love of nature with others!
If you could be anywhere right now, where would it be?
On a mountain in Norway.
Canoe or kayak? Or are you more of a land traveller?
CANOE! As a former Boundary Waters canoe guide, paddling will always be my preferred method of travel.
What is your favorite type of footwear?
Chacos (with wool socks depending on the weather).
If you could have dinner with anyone, from anytime, anywhere, who would it be?
It’s a toss-up between Eleanor Roosevelt and Julia Child.
What is your favorite place at Wolf Ridge ELC?
On Wolf Lake, floating in a canoe tied to a cedar tree at the base of Mystical Mountain. It’s the most relaxing place to read a good book.
