Fabulous Fall Geek Out: Wolf Ridge Sampler

September 30 @ 3:00 pm - October 2 @ 1:30 pm

$350

Spend a glorious fall weekend on the North Shore of Minnesota gaining hands-on experience and learning from experts in their field.

Workshops take place on the Wolf Ridge campus and surrounding areas, with lodging and meals provided. Whether you’re a seasoned naturalist or just a curious learner, the experience is designed for lifelong learners who have a passion for the natural world. Participants select a single workshop for the weekend but will have an opportunity to connect with other workshop groups during meals and evening programming.

Workshop: Wolf Ridge Sampler

Experience the excitement of traveling back to the time of the Voyageur and paddle a Montreal canoe. Learn how the Ojibwa People shared their skills and technology with the Voyageurs. Climb a rock wall. Hike to an overlook on the Superior Hiking Trail. View the beautiful fall colors. Seek out north woods wildlife and plant communities. Learn about the moon, stars, and planets in the Star Lab and at the telescope if the night is clear. Enthusiastic Wolf Ridge naturalists will guide your adventures as you experience for yourself why Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center is so memorable to the adults and children who attend with their school or through one of our summer camps

Instructor: David Stieler
