Snow Study

How can we analyze real-life environmental scenarios using mathematical representations?

Living in the snow is a key part of being a Minnesotan, but what is snow and how do we study it? In this lesson you will go outside and play in the snow while exploring snow properties and structures.

This Adventures in Learning lesson involves:

Following an Online StoryMap lesson
— Describing how a snowflake is created
— Differentiating between different types of snow
— Experiencing and measuring the insulating properties of snow
— Adding snowflake and snow layer observations to your nature journal
