Experience two weeks of fun and adventure, including 8 days of sea kayak camping on Lake Superior in the Apostle Islands. During the first week, campers will combine great camp activities such as adventure ropes and outdoor rock climbing as well as learning sea kayak and Leave No Trace skills while they prepare for 8 days of paddling in the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore.

Use new kayak paddling skills while traveling and camping in the islands

Once they arrive in the Bayfield peninsula of Wisconsin, kayakers will embark from the mainland and spend the rest of the trip on the various islands off the coast. They will explore the lighthouses, beaches, forests, and possibly the coastal sea caves of the islands and discover what makes the islands so special. No prior experience is required, just a willingness to work hard, play hard, and try new things!  What to expect on a kayak trip.
