One to three-week camps

  • Credit Academies – These 2-week options combine outdoor summer fun and adventure with high-level academic learning where campers can earn high school and college credit.
  • Ornithology Field Camp -Experience the exciting world of bird research.
  • Counselor in Training (CIT) – This two-week program is a wonderful opportunity for campers to enhance and develop self-confidence, communication skills, tolerance for adversity, self-awareness, and a personal leadership style.

Wilderness Trips

  • Superior Service Learning – This program combines three key components: community service, hands-on learning, and adventure while spending time at both at Wolf Ridge and backpacking for 5-days on the Superior Hiking Trail.
  • 2-week Jr. Naturalist Apostle Islands Kayak – Lake Superior is the theme of this action-packed sea kayaking trip to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. Six days in camp, eight days on trail.
  • 2-week Jr. Naturalist Quetico Canoe – Paddle canoes north into the ancient waters of Quetico Provincial Park. Six days in camp, eight days on trail.
  • Apostle Islands Sea Kayak Expedition – Wolf Ridge’s pinnacle sea kayaking trip for experienced campers. Four days in camp, ten days on trail.
  • Boundary Waters Traverse Canoe Expedition – Wolf Ridge’s longest trip and a once in a lifetime wilderness trip for experienced campers. Four days in camp, seventeen days on trail.
