 We had perfect weather for our first day of paddling on Lake Superior at the Mawikwe Bay sea caves near Cornucopia, WI. |
 The sandstone arches take on a magical quality when the sun hits them just so. |
 We were able to paddle right up against the cliffs, and sometimes under them! |
 Within an hour of paddling, kayakers had learned balance and were becoming strong paddlers. |

 The Swallow Point sea caves on Sand Island offered more chances to explore the unique geology of the Apostle Islands. |

 Paddling into the sea caves was one of many highlights on our trip. We were lucky to enjoy perfect weather and calm waters. |

 We woke up early to a gorgeous misty morning. The wind actually picked up quite a bit that day. But it was at our backs. We enjoyed the challenge. |
