When you’re having fun, learning is a whole lot easier. That’s why our classes encourage students to immerse themselves in experiences that will stay with them for a lifetime.
Not only are they passionate about the environment, but our educators are intensely passionate about teaching. And it shows. Lifelong learning is fostered at Wolf Ridge and is a concept that is nurtured by our teachers. As life-long learners themselves, our educators pride themselves on taking what’s been taught in classrooms, and using that to provide students with the opportunity to experience education. Study it in the classroom and experience it outside. That’s where learning becomes an adventure.
Students will be housed in our West Dorm and our East Dorm. In the West Dorm, each room sleeps 4-8 students, with bathrooms and showers down the hall. The central great room features a fireplace and two-story windows that overlook both Sawmill Creek and the Baptism River. Our East Dorm features two spacious lobbies for group gatherings and dorm rooms with a private bath. Each room contains bunk beds that sleep 6-8 people.
Whether they’re coming in from a long day outside, or getting ready for the day, students can satisfy their appetites in the Fireplace Dining Room or in the Lake Superior Dining Room. Here, they’ll enjoy the range of delicious menu options, including seasonal food freshly harvested on campus from the Wolf Ridge Organic Farm. We can accommodate most special dietary needs with advance notice. Meals are served cafeteria style.
Programs are offered year-round. Please contact us for available dates.
Most schools pay for the trip with a combination of fund-raising, community support and direct costs to students.
